This was the hardest boarder control in all SA. The SAG guy even checked my underwear, our dirty clothes and everything. They took one of our wooden boxes away and all the food. But they were very friendly.

Location on overlander was wrong/attempting to correct. Everything needed to enter/exit Chile is in a row of buildings. Super friendly staff. Pretty views. This road is dirt to get here (all the way from Ruta 40 in Argentina to 30km further West from this point into Chile). This border is open all day (including lunchtime) from 8am - 7pm.

Great drive (see my Argentina entry), 30-60 min crossing time as papers had to be done manually (computer not running) and fruit control did their job over seriously.
