It is an amazing place, it is not like a normal museum is much more! The architecture is incredible, even more than the museum itself. The views from the town, but specially the give you a little book with the entrance and when to are walking around you can learn about the pachamama, the stories; and the culture. They also have like a mini version of a mine. It is the best museum I have ever been. Very worth it to stop. 5000 pesos/ person.

The road leading to it is closed but you can access the museum anyway. 4k pesos pp and it's absolutely worth it. We spent 1h30 in there, admiring this architectural masterpiece. The shop is not that expensive and you can buy there a lot of things.

Great stop on this road. Remember to ask them to open the halls with the tapesery art works and painting. The outside art and the the art qwas our highlights.

Really interesting place,interpreting the ancient believes by graceful architecture and sculptures. Very inspired and very productive artist! Well worth a visit! 2.000 pesos per person

Calling this a museum can be a bit misleading. Don't come here for the 4 exhibit rooms because they are very simple and basic and not the highlight. What we really liked was the artistry and architecture of the grounds, unique and beautiful. Yes, you can see some of it from the outside but not all. The shop inside has a wide selection of items for sale. Still 200 pesos per person.

Well, if you like pebbledash gone wild.... Not much in the way of actual exhibits: you can get the idea just looking through the fence and save your 200. Shop may be worth a browse.

More an artist gallery (eclectic mix of artist liberal reproduction of ancient objets, paintings, tapestry, the architecture of the place itself) from one artist (Cruz, the founder of the museum).

I am surprised that this museum isn't better known. It is bursting with the creativity if its creator. Absolutely incredible!! One of the highlights in 2 years of travelling. Don't miss it on any account.

[wiki]The Pachamama Museum is a work of the Plant Artist Héctor Cruz, created in 1996. In 10,000 m2 of surface, the rooms of geology, anthropology and natural sciences are meticulously distributed. In the courtyards, terraces, floors and walls of the museum can be seen in mythological symbologies and large sculptures of millenary gods, made in quartz of different colors.
