Einer unserer Lieblingsplätze - unerwartete Wüste pur. Wir fuhren immer weiter weg von der Strasse und stoppten letztlich vor einem alten Bahndamm, was etwas Windschutz bot. 4x4 nicht verwendet aber unbedingt empfohlen. Mehr Einsamkeit und Ruhe geht nicht. Keine Besucher (außer vielen Geckos), Straße nur in weiter Ferne. kein Signal, kein Wasser.

We took a right pull in a bit before this location, very quiet night, be careful of the deep sand. no flowers in this area (beginning nov) but we saw lots on ruta C-10 and ruta 5

Surprisingly much traffic between 6 and 7 pm on a saturday and at the next morning. Maybe because of a mine further up the road !? Beside that absolutely quiet, large flat area, hard packed sand, accessible with our 12 t truck without problems-as long it is dry.

Fantastic spot, the track keeps going and going off the road, so you can get as far away from civilisation as you wish. Sadly we were a little early for flowers, but we did get perfect silence and fantastic night skies and peace. Highly recommended.

Amazing spot with a wonderful view of the flower in the valley (in July). The road goes on so you can walk a long way. During the day you can hear the distant highway but at night it was deadly quiet.
