We tried to go here, but it seemed like a dangerous place to pitch a tent. It’s really close to the side of the road leaving you vulnerable to theft but also to bad driving.

This was not a convenient place for us to camp in our Toyota Land Cruiser. It's only a small pull out along the narrow road along the Laguna with steep drop offs. We preferred to sleep at a small quarry 2km further west.

Wide and fairly flat spot in the road. Amazing view of the Laguna with the mountains in the background and a glimpse of a glacier. High and cold so in bad weather might not be so fun. Spot might be a little small for a big rig.
